NAMIBIA Airports Company (NAC) has announced that it will be hosting the AviaDev Africa Forum in June 2024 in Windhoek, Namibia’s capital. The event aims to enhance air connectivity to, from, and within the African continent by bringing together influential stakeholders such as airlines, airports, tourism boards, government officials, and industry experts.
Expressing excitement about hosting AviaDev Africa, NAC Chief Executive Bisey Uirab said, ‘We are thrilled to host AviaDev Africa in 2024 and welcome industry leaders to experience the wonders of our country for both business and tourism.’ Uirab underlined Namibia’s eagerness to showcase its destinations and forge partnerships.
Namibia, a rapidly growing tourism destination, offers a diverse range of attractions for visitors. By hosting AviaDev Africa, the country aims to not only foster aviation growth but also highlight its immense potential as a host nation. Jon Howell, the CEO of AviaDev, praised NAC’s commitment to a unified approach among stakeholders in supporting air connectivity.
