BENINESE singer-songwriter Angélique Kidjo, a five-time Grammy Award winner, is set to take the stage at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on November 17, in a special concert commemorating her impressive 40-year career. Kidjo, often hailed as ‘Africa’s premier diva’ by TIME magazine, is not only a music legend but also the recipient of the prestigious 2023 Polar Music Prize.

The Royal Albert Hall’s Director of Programming, Matt Todd, expressed his excitement, stating, ‘It is a real privilege for us to be hosting the debut concert of Angélique’s upcoming world tour here at the Hall. She has achieved so much throughout her career, so to be able to celebrate the 40th anniversary in this historic building is a truly special occasion.’
