THE vibrant literary scene in Africa is set to converge once again as the 7th African Writers Conference (AWC) descends upon the beautiful city of Kigali. With anticipation mounting, Writers Space Africa (WSA) – Rwanda is proud to host this annual celebration of African literature from October 22 to 27, 2024.
The AWC serves as a platform for writers, readers, and literary enthusiasts from across the continent to come together and delve into the diverse and rich tapestry of African literature. This year’s theme, The Role of African Children’s Literature in Shaping the Youth, promises to spark insightful conversations and reflections on the influence of literature on the younger generation.
