SOUTH African football has been rocked by the sudden death of Sinamandla Zondi, a promising 22-year-old defender for Durban City, who collapsed during the warm-up ahead of a second-tier league match on Tuesday.

The club extended its condolences to his family, friends, and teammates, adding that it would continue offering support in the wake of the tragedy.
