NIGERIAN singer Mr Eazi and actress Temi Otedola have celebrated their latest wedding ceremony with an exclusive service in Reykjavik, Iceland, on August 8, 2025. The couple, who had earlier marked their union in Monaco and Dubai, kept the church wedding private, with video clips emerging only recently.
Temi, 29, is the daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, ranked among Africa’s 20 richest people. Her husband, born Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, is a 34-year-old award-winning artist and entrepreneur with investments across the continent.
A-list guests at an intimate ceremony
Despite the low profile of the venue nearly 7,000 kilometres from Nigeria, the guest list featured Africa’s business elite. Among the 100 invitees were Aliko Dangote, the continent’s wealthiest man, and Abdulsamad Rabiu, also one of Africa’s richest ten.
Femi Otedola emphasised the ceremony’s exclusivity, noting: ‘Only 100 people were invited.’
‘A match made in heaven’
In a heartfelt address, Otedola recalled how his daughter introduced him to Mr Eazi in 2017 and said he had been certain of the singer’s qualities as a husband.
‘Temi, I wish you all the best in your future endeavours. You found a great guy, blessed guy, he comes from a decent family,’ he said, adding that both share entrepreneurial ambition. ‘This is a match made in heaven. For Tosin, you are going places. I have seen the entrepreneurial skills in you.’
The businessman also offered fatherly counsel: ‘Continue to love Temi. When you have issues, problems… just keep it within yourselves. Never call any friend (and say) “I have this problem”, just keep it within your walls, and God will bless you and bless your marriage.’
Dangote praises groom’s calm and vision
Aliko Dangote told the gathering he was impressed not only by the couple’s bond but also by Mr Eazi’s business ventures. ‘I was pleasantly surprised to learn Tosin has business interests in 18 African countries,’ he said.
‘I do not know of any musician who is also an entrepreneur, very calm, loyal like you. Our daughter is very, very lucky to have somebody like you.’
Three weddings in one year
The Iceland service marked the third celebration of the marriage. The couple first held a civil ceremony in Monaco on May 9, followed by a traditional wedding in Dubai on July 5 at the Otedola family residence.
The pair first met in London in January 2017 during a performance by Temi’s elder sister, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy. They announced their engagement in April 2022.
Their union now stands as one of the most high-profile marriages linking Nigeria’s entertainment world with its business elite — a blend of glamour, enterprise and private devotion.
