Keypoints:

  • Africa Briefing and ACSII formalise strategic partnership
  • Focus on sustainability investment and visibility
  • Agreement runs until January 2027

AFRICA Briefing and the African Caribbean Sustainability & Investment Initiative (ACSII) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a strategic partnership designed to strengthen sustainability investment and development cooperation between Africa and the Caribbean.

The agreement, signed on February 18, 2026, brings together Africa Briefing’s media and stakeholder engagement platform with ACSII’s investment and sustainability agenda delivered through the African Caribbean Sustainability & Investment Summit (ACSIS).

Jonathan Offei-Ansah, Founder and Publisher of Africa Briefing, signed the agreement as Partner I, while David F. Roberts, Managing Director of ACSII, signed on behalf of the London-based organisation as Partner II.

Media collaboration at the centre of partnership

At its core, the partnership seeks to leverage media strategy, convening power and cross-regional collaboration to expand sustainable investment opportunities, amplify policy dialogue and increase visibility for African and Caribbean development initiatives.

Under the agreement, Africa Briefing will provide independent media guidance aimed at strengthening ACSIS’ visibility across the African continent while supporting engagement among investors, policymakers and industry stakeholders.

Expanding sustainability and investment dialogue

The MoU outlines a framework for both organisations to co-create high-impact content and convene influential actors across sectors. The collaboration is expected to unlock new trade, investment and revenue opportunities linking African and Caribbean markets.

ACSII, through the ACSIS platform, focuses on sustainability-driven investment initiatives that promote economic resilience, climate-conscious development and cross-regional partnerships. Africa Briefing will contribute editorial expertise, strategic communications support and stakeholder engagement to support these goals.

David F. Roberts, Managing Director of ACSII, said the partnership would significantly expand the initiative’s international reach.

‘As ACSII expands its sustainability and investment agenda across Africa and the Caribbean, this collaboration ensures our message, partners, and projects receive serious international exposure — reaching investors, policymakers, captains of industry and the global African diaspora,’ Roberts said.

He added that the initiative goes beyond traditional trade engagement. ‘ACSII is not just building trade corridors — we are shaping the narrative of Africa–Caribbean economic transformation.’

Jonathan Offei-Ansah described the agreement as a natural alignment between media storytelling and investment-driven dialogue.

‘Africa Briefing is proud to partner with the African Caribbean Sustainability and Investment Summit (ACSIS) — a collaboration focused on driving dialogue, investment, and sustainable growth across Africa and the Caribbean,’ he said.

‘Together, we are creating a platform that connects ideas, capital, and leadership shaping the future of two dynamic regions. Stay tuned for powerful conversations and impactful stories ahead.’

The agreement signals growing interest in structured cooperation between Africa and Caribbean economies, particularly in areas such as sustainable finance, infrastructure development and climate investment.

Strengthening cross-regional cooperation

The partnership reflects a broader trend toward institutional collaboration linking African and Caribbean stakeholders around sustainability and investment priorities. Organisers say the initiative aims to create stronger economic bridges between the two regions while expanding dialogue on inclusive growth and climate resilience.

By combining media influence with investment-focused convening, both organisations expect the collaboration to elevate visibility for emerging opportunities and deepen engagement between public and private sector actors across both regions.

The agreement formally positions Africa Briefing as a strategic media partner supporting ACSIS initiatives over the next eleven months, with both parties signalling intentions to build longer-term cooperation beyond the initial term.
